With over 45 years of combined international experience in Medtech, Healthcare and Pharma ranging from Multinational Companies to Lean Startups, Andrew & Pascal are uniquely qualified to offer support to organizations of all sizes & stages of development.
Prior to starting Medtech Mojo, Andrew served as Vice President of Global Strategic Marketing at Fresenius Kabi’s Application Devices unit based outside of Lyon, France. During his tenure, Fresenius Kabi rose to become the global leader in infusion and enteral nutrition device sales. Andrew helped steer the business away from classic device sales towards solution selling built on new Connectivity, Software and Service capabilities.
Prior to his time at Fresenius Kabi, Andrew spent over 6 years with Philips Healthcare. For the first 3, he served as the Director of Marketing for Noninvasive Solutions in the Carlsbad, CA ventilation business unit where he oversaw the development and launch of no fewer than 3 new ventilation platforms (Respironics V60, V200 and Trilogy 202) and over a dozen new patient interfaces and circuits. Three years later he moved with his family to Paris where he served as International Marketing Director for Anesthesia and Hospital Respiratory Care products.
Prior to joining Philips Respironics, Andrew worked for over six years at CareFusion, Alaris Products as a Senior Marketing Manager for Infusion Systems. While at CareFusion, Andrew launched a revolutionary syringe pump technology and eventually became the product lead for the Alaris System, the company’s flagship infusion platform. In 2004, Andrew accepted a foreign assignment in Europe (Basingstoke, UK) for two years where he helped commercialize medication safety software systems and support the commercialization of TIVA/TCI anesthesia infusion systems.
Andrew started out his professional career in Sales with Aventis-Hoechst promoting pharmaceuticals to cardiologists and internists in Beverly Hills. In addition to his combined 20 years in Healthcare and Medical Devices, Andrew also worked in Consumer Packaged Goods marketing with international giants such as Nestle and Procter & Gamble.
Although an American citizen, Andrew has a strong international background, having lived over 25 years outside the US in countries like France and England. He graduated with honors from Northwestern University in Chicago and has an MBA in Marketing from the Anderson School at UCLA. Andrew is married with two boys and calls San Diego his home.
